Interview with an Angel

The passages I found in Romans (2/14 and 5/15 ) are incredible! What I believe Paul is telling us is all of the different Churches are not necessarily wrong in their teachings. Paul says "When the Gentiles who have not the law (given to Moses, to help the Israelites through the wilderness) do by nature what law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law". Through the ages humankind has, in their search for salvation thru Christ set up different Churches with their own rules.

I went to the boat hoping to find Manchester (the Angel) on board, and he was.

"You are right, I know it is confusing... how can so many different Churches and groups, for that matter, all be right? When the laws are written on their hearts and minds, it leaves the laws and rules up to them and their followers.

"When you seek out a Church you can use your heart and mind, also your Bible. Some Churches over the years have acquired many laws and rules, some are quite burdensome, but some people want that. Others don't want to be involved in a Church, or are unable to attend, then they are following whats on their hearts and minds. Your Churches are wonderful and preform a great service though.

"When the Catholics decided their Priest should not be married, it placed a heavy burden on them. When you place rules that don't follow you're physical bodies requirements its bound to cause problems and has for some of their Priest.

"Before Moses, all the peoples of your world did not have your Creators Covenant that Abraham had. They also had no laws to follow, but that does not mean that your Creator did not have love and pride in them and wanted them also to have his laws written on their hearts and minds. As with the Gentiles, Muslims, and all humanity for all time they will stand before the Lord ("As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God")

Romans 14-11

The way I understand Pauls letter is that when Christ went to the cross and was raised, he with his great power was able to remove Moses law and many others accrued over all these years and bring back our Creators original law for all humanity and that is the rule of LOVE, which is written on our hearts and in our minds. Now that is a law we can all understand and attempt to follow.

As to the Catholic rule that their Priests cannot marry, you know as well as I do it is very difficult to deal with that powerful drive to procreate, it causes we men to all kinds of imaginations to relieve ourselves of the tensions and many of us have wives! I am not excusing those who assault and rape women, girls, men and boys. I feel the Pope should change the rule and fast!
