On our last interview we asked the Angel, about the the problems in the Middle East, about a group of radical power hungry people that have invaded a branch of Islam, and are having some success in many parts of the world. I felt I should ask the Angel about it.
Manchester, was on the boat, I asked him how the radicals were able to recruit followers who were not born or raised in that religion and inspire them to murder innocent people and sacrifice their lives for their cause.
"Religion is a very powerful tool in the hands of honest people and those who plan evil. Those who are evil tell people that they have the only religion and they must follow it without question. They tell them that the western religions are evil. They use your media as an example.
"They use your "pop culture" movies, TV shows, the ones that make immorality "cool" fun, exciting. The shows that tell you you're not living the good life unless you have sex and children out of wedlock. TV shows that promote homosexuality, music and dance shows that imitate sex and brutality, TV dramas that show gruesome murders and use foul language.
"It's not difficult to turn a mind of a young person who is looking for a religion with a strong moral code. Islam, has such a code, with sever physical punishment for violators, even death.
"Their propaganda tells recruits that the people in the West are devils spawn. When they see your media it's easy to see why they turn against you.
"They don't understand Christianity, where there is a moral code also and there is judgement. Christianity does't kill those who don't follow its code. Many people feel free to act immoral without punishment. Not only are they giving fuel for your enemies but they will also face judgement from their creator."
With that last remark, he vanished.
