First I must apologize for a couple of errors in INTERVIEW 98. When I was quoting from the Bible (Romans 15-21 "but as it is written, "They shall see who have never been told of him, and they shall understand who haven ever heard of him.") it should have been "who have never heard of him.") my fingers got stuck in the keys! Also in the third paragraph last line, I said "but they all are your Fathers creation." it should have been "your Heavenly Fathers creation". It Happens to me all the time, I proof read three times, daughter also proof reads before she post it, we both missed it. It won't be the last time I'm sorry to say. We are not professionals at this and appreciate your understanding. My daughter also helps with grammar and sentence structure. My many thanks to her.
Now in the news we heard the Supreme Courts decision between the cake baker and the gay couples law suit. Based on the scriptures that I showed in interview 97 and 98, the baker, with his beliefs he has a right to feel as he does. Based on Romans 2-14 the baker has the right to feel that he cannot preform his art in a way that promotes a physical behavior that the bible criticizes, in Rom. 1-26 and 1st. Cor. 6/9-11 there are two examples both from Paul, who I believe represents us Gentiles. I feel that in our present time such behavior can be dangerous to males who participate, such as aids.
I also feel that gay men who want to marry should be allowed to because if they promise to be faithful to each other, that would reduce the spread of that deadly disease.
Back to Romans, 12/15-16 "Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with lowly; never be conceited. That tells us we should be more understanding with others feelings.
I usually go to Paul when there appears to contradictions in the Bible, because Paul was not directly taught by Christ. When Christ completed his mission on earth and was resurrected the covenant changed for the Gentiles, the old Testament laws do not apply to us (Rom 2-14) also in Romans 14/10 to 14 "Why do you pass judgment on your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written, as I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall give praise to God."
Now this is how I feel, if I were the baker I would have made the cake for the couple, provided that I was not required to use images or words that were disgraceful to our Lord, others, or my own personal feelings. It's like if a singer was required to sing at a wedding or other event, a song that would upset the artist based on faith or just principal, they should not be sued if they refused. The cake was not one that was mass produced in the shop, it was a special request, much like the singer.
I thought that I could handle this without Manchesters help, I hope I'm right. With that I will not vanish.
