During the Covid period, the television shows have crashed! The stations shut down all of the popular shows for reruns. If there is new show on, you have to pay for it and most are not worth it. This has forced me to go back to books, and I like non-fiction, most of which are written by college-educated writers. Here’s my problem: most graduates get a dose of Darwin when it comes to “creation”. Many of us got some Darwin in high school, and it’s hard for me to believe in his theory of creation through “Natural Selection”.
Before I can challenge his theory, I have to read it, so I did. And I discovered that he even challenges his own theory in chapters six and seven of his book THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES - Chapter VI Difficulties of the Theory, and VII Miscellaneous Objections to the Theory of Natural Selection.
I always thought Darwin proposed we came from pond scum but I found in his book it was Mr. Herbert Spencer, Darwin felt Spencer had no facts. I agree.
When he tells us that most flowers require bees and bugs to pollenate them, we have the question which came first - the bee or the flower? I can’t help feeling that our members of higher education are afraid to admit that there might be a SUPER SCIENTIST with a large number of others searching thru space for a planet that’s able to support life and they set up shop. I believe that science is more able to create life than a fish crawling from the ocean and their float bladder changing into lungs by Natural Selection. Why and how could a fish reason that dry land is better than the water?.
The Darwin book that I have was printed in 1915, so he had no idea of space travel that we now have. We can see how a space traveler could find our planet and one that has that ability could create life. That is how I believe, and why I refer to our “God” as our Creator. What does Manchester say?
"I do not see any harm to refer to your “God” as your Creator. Your Bible tells you that there are many Gods, so by using Creator or Heavenly Father would be fine with him."
With that he vanished.
