This is the month of Thanksgiving, the time to give thanks for our blessings. As a person of faith, I am “thankful”, even during the COVID-19 Pandemic. At my age, I'’m grateful to be alive and in good health, my family is in good health. I have been taking all of the precautions to stay that way.
I am blessed by our Creator - a being of great wisdom and power - that I believe he or she has, with thousands of Angels, created our world. When I go outside in the morning and breathe the air and look at the sky, look at my yard, which is “forest landscaped” and when you look at the precision of a spider web and the spider, it's impossible for me to imagine it all created itself. Most of humanity has faith in their scientists and their prognostications, so why not a “super scientist” and a team creating our planet and everything on it?
My faith helps me to deal with what goes on in our world, to believe that I have an Angel “assigned” to me for help, guidance and protection. I’'m not super smart or clever enough to make it in this complex world on my own so I appreciate what prayer does for me. It gives me the peace I have in my daily life, and the courage to write this blog.
I find it easy to accept the results of the Presidential election and our progress on dealing with the COVID-19 virus.
