I have had a very difficult time over the last several months; my wife had a fall down our stairs on June 19th the day before Fathers Day. I called 911 and sent her to the hospital, they found blood on her brain. She has been in hospitals most of the time. She has lost much of her memory, I have arranged our home to care for her when she returns.
This is the kind of situation that calls for much prayer, which I have done. Prayer and faith in our Heavenly Father, I need the faith that my wife will be restored to me, soon. Having faith helps me deal with this, I feel that our Creator guides me in the decisions I have to make in her care from the Doctors, Nurses and where she is staying, right now she is in rehab.
Having faith in our Creator helps me deal with what is going on. I can handle the physical end of it; getting the room ready, all on one level, the proper bed and "“PT & OT”" equipment. The love, care and concern for my wife is overwhelming. Her memories are returning slowly, the Doctors and Hospitals have done all they can, her healing is in the hands of our Lord.
Having prayer is helping very much, it helps me to sleep at night relax during the day, it lifts a great burden off my shoulders and gives me courage to deal with what may come. I am planning to bring her home soon, our insurance will help me with the PT and OT and they send nurses around to check blood pressure etc.
Now, what does Manchester, the Angel, say?
"Trust is the word you are looking for, you have to know that the Lord loves your wife and wants her to recover, how and when is up to him. During that time you will learn to appreciate her much more than you have, I can see that has already started. Your Heavenly Father is helping and will help, you must be patient."
With that, he vanished.
