Well it's Christmas time and the atheists are hard at work. One of the more famous atheists is Bill Maher, next we have David Silverman with a book Fighting God. I don't understand why these people feel that they have to "sell" their ideas that our Heavenly Father does not exist?
They are down-right offensive! Bill comes right out calling believers stupid, to believe in an invisible being that has the ability to control almost every aspect of our lives, let alone the power to create this planet and all that lives on it.
I can understand how someone would have a hard time getting their head around the concept. But the alternative could be believing that all life comes from pond scum. When you look at all of the different life forms like plants and trees not to forget germs that one can't see with the naked eye. I think our creators are incredible scientists ( I use the word creators, because in Genesis 1/26 "let us make man in our image" our likeness.) I feel that there were many scientists that worked on our creation, being led by one super smart, creative scientist who I call our Heavenly Father, he coordinated the whole thing, that is why the Bible refers to "God" as our creator. Unfortunately the term God has been misused and abused over the years by so many people, I try to use Heavenly Father or Creator and of course Jesus Christ.
The reason why our Creator remains concealed from us is quite obvious, it's easy to see how crazy we go over famous people, there would be no safe place for him, ( I use the word him because it is common, in Genesis 1/27 " So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.") So you ladies are there in the beginning, and just as important as we men.
There are many proofs of our creation, one I like and have put a name to it is "creation connections," when you think about it, sex, male and female is involved in all living things, like plants, most bugs, and some germs, so apparently the pond scum had a mate or mates. I find it hard to believe that the strain of sex in almost every living thing came from haphazard contact, did one amoeba say to the other "you be the female today," if you feel that sounds ignorant you're with me.
We have seen so many amazing things that our scientists have come up with and discovered, it's not hard to feel that a group of geniuses could have at least come up with the idea, personally I think Bill Maher is the idiot on this one.
I don't understand why atheists think they have to convert believers and fence sitters to their way of thinking? What are the advantages of atheists? What makes their lives better than ours? Some of them feel they are more free than we are, they don't know that many of us feel they don't need to follow many of the Old Testament laws. The New Testament has very few laws due to Jesus' sacrifice, he freed us. Dave Fowler.
