November, here in the north west is cold and rainy so I put off going to the boat, needless to say I haven't seen Manchester, the Angel. We've just had an election that has surprised almost all of us, Donald Trump won??!! The Republicans here in Washington, don't have any say in national elections because the largest population is in the western part of the state and are mostly Democrats, so no one can blame us.
I thought Manchester could shed some light on the upset that came about. I put on my foul-weather gear and went to the boat. Apparently Manchester, knew I would come down, for he was on board.
It was a comfort to be there with the Angel, for I haven't seen him for some time, I asked him about the election and here's his answer.
"Your Creator has placed rulers over you humans throughout time. I know not his reasons. In your situation I feel he wanted a distinct change, a president that was not from the ranks of politics. Those of you who have come up through the ranks usually have made friends and enemies through the years. I am not saying that Mr. Trump hasn't also made many friends and enemies, some from political backgrounds, President Obama, also was not deeply involved in politics at the time of his election. You're Creator felt he would manage well for the time he was in office and it seems he has.
"Now there is time for a change and you're Creator has made that change, some of the evangelicals feel it will be for the best even though Mr. Trump does not appear to be the type of man they envisioned, like a staunch Christian, bear in mind your Heavenly father cautions you not to judge one another on their faith and how one chooses to serve him.
"What you could do is to pray that President Trump will turn out to be one of the best Presidents you have."
With that he vanished.
