Charles Schumer, made an announcement on TV last week that has criticized Israels Prime Minister, Netanyahu, of using too much force in Israels retaliation against the Hamas attacks. What Schumer, does not understand is the religious implications in that region and it is all based on religion, over thousands of years.
We can’t blame Schumer for not understanding the situation, only those of us who have studied the scriptures both in the Bible and the Noble QUR’AN, neither of which support or encourage a war between Jews and Arabs.
I wish more Universities and Colleges insisted that no one could graduate without completing a course in major religions of the world. I get the feeling that our esteemed schools are afraid that establishing a course on religion, it would like opening a “can of worms”, there are so many variations. But then what about politics? Well not so many worms.
Hamas, like many jihadis does not follow Geneva Convention rules. Israel attempts to as much as they can under the conditions. Most of their fighters wear uniforms, they don’t target schools and hospitals unless they are being used to hide guns, explosives and even jihadis themselves. We can see how they were digging caves under their own cities and of course under Israels wall.
Throughout history these jihadis on power hungry attacks have been clever, vicious fighters, raping and killing woman and children. Israel has learned that there is a need to attack them with maximum force, more than we in the US would use, they feel that they have to punish them, not just defeat them.
Let's check in with Manchester, the Angel.
