Last month I did not have a comment from Manchester, he was on vacation. Here we are with Christmas coming up, and one of the questions that comes up at this time is was Christ born in December? Many bible historians and scholars feel that Christ was not born in December or the winter season. I feel that it doesn’t matter much to me or the rest of us in America.
I grew up in the Seattle area where we have the seasons and the Christmas, hub-bub is a welcome break from the drizzle and snow was always welcome to the young. It’s amazing to me how much Christianity has spread throughout the world. I love the concept of our Creator coming to his planet in flesh form. You can imagine if you had the power to create a planet like earth with all of what’s on it and not coming down to it and experiencing it? To me that would be a bit scary and sadly it was.
That’s what all the celebration is about, the sacrifice he made for all humanity. Manchester is back so I’ll check in with him..
