I have completed my reading of the Noble Qur'an, one an English interpretation by Abdullah Yusuf Ali, 1934 and another interpretation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan and Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hillali, 2001.
I found some of the interpretations varied between the two. one was before WW-ll and one after WW-ll , the variations seemed to be minor.
I felt obligated to read them because of all the problems we are having with attacks from a few people who call themselves Muslims. I can safely say that they have not read the Qur'an, or did not understand Muhammad's message and last, their hatred for Jews, Christians and all of humanity, allowing satan to enter their hearts causing them to commit horrible attacks, large and small.
In both of my Qur'an's they open with "in the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. The first, 1934 version and in the 2001 it is changed a little. "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" These first openings are carried throughout the Qur'an at the beginning of each Sura (chapter).
Those openings say it all, Muhammad is telling us that Allah, (God, or Creator, the only one we believe in and worship, is Most Gracious, Most Merciful, Allah does not tell anyone to go out and fly airplanes into buildings, killing thousands of innocent people! "In the long run evil will be the End of those who do evil; for that they rejected the Signs of Allah, and held them up to ridicule. "Ar-Rum, or Romans 30 (part 21) vs 10, the Holy Qur'an.
Most people don't realize (myself included) that Muhammad and Muslims are descended from Abraham and Moses, quoted many times in the Qur'an. They and the Jews, are Kindred to each other. They worship the same Creator, Allah, God the same God that Christians worship. They believe in the Oneness of our Creator. So why are they warring agains each other? There are those who lead others with lies about what the Qur'an and the Bible says, they are greedy for Land and Power, simple.
So these idiots are going around blowing up themselves, with others and shooting people, usually innocents, thinking they are carrying out Gods will. There is nothing in the Qur'an, or the Bible (new testament) ordering to do it.
Those who go out and murder the creation of Allah, (God) are judging them without cause, not giving them time to find their way, they are playing God. In the Qur'an sura-95 AT-TIN, or the Fig. vs 8 "Is not Allah the wisest of Judges?" Leave to Allah (God) what is Allah's (God's)
