We have just finished with an election to fill the vacancy left when Sessions left to become the U.S. Attorney General. The politics ran wild over Roy Moore, when he threw his hat into the ring. Women came to the press with accusations that thirty plus years ago Roy Moore dated and made unwanted sexual a advances toward them, when one was only fourteen years old and he was about thirty.
The main news outlets hammered Moore with child molestation accusations. There was no direct evidence, only their word. Moore was also described as this crazy man who was removed from his seat as a judge for refusing to recognize the rights of the Gay community to be allowed to marry and he was also forced to remove a stone slab from the courthouse, listing the ten commandments.
It was clear to me that He was a devout Christian, using his authority to enforce his interpretation of how we should obey and follow our Creator, He also had an attitude about Muslims. I felt this would be a good question for Manchester the Angel.
I was glad to see Manchester on the boat, so I posed the question, how would our Heavenly Father want us to behave towards him and each other?
"Your Bible is filled with rules and laws regarding how we interact with each other and serve our Creator.
"In the Old Testament, the first set of laws came directly from your Lord to Moses, they were the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20-3). Prior to that time there were Priests who set laws of worship. The Commandments given to Moses was for the Children of Israel, not you Gentiles. The Commandments are good and worth your trying to follow but they were not meant for you.
"The New Testament is meant for you, if you believe in Christ then you are on the right step towards doing what he wants you to do with yourself and others.
"Pauls letters are directed more to you because Christ had fulfilled his mission, so to speak. The rules and laws had not changed when he was on the earth he had to be crucified and risen to complete your salvation. When he walked with the disciples he could not speak of the laws and how they could be followed by the Gentiles, he could only give hints, which you might recognize.
"Pauls letter to the Romans (those serving in Rome) explains how Gentiles serve God (Romans 2/ 14-15). Your Salvation is a gift, free not earned, if you feel you need to earn the Lords love then you reduce his power. (Romans 5/15-18)."
What the Angel is saying Roy Moore is forgiven by our Creator, so we should also.
