During this last month things have been wild, with Israel and Trump. The most important is Israel. The International Criminal Court is planning to charge Israel with War Crimes.
I don’t understand how they could arrive at that charge when they were attacked by Hamas, with many being killed and kidnapped, when Hamas rebels dug under their border invading Israel, not the other way around.
Israel had to respond, a nation living in peace and being attacked for no reason has to respond with enough force to keep their army safe and to punish the attackers strongly to cause them to think twice before they feel it would be smart to ever attack again.
In our system of justice if someone attacks an innocent person and steals from them or kidnaps their children, our laws tell us that our police can seek them out and arrest them with as much force as necessary and our courts to punish them to prevent them from repeating the offence.
What Israel has done is counter attack Hamas (arrest) and punish (heavy bombing) them to discourage them from repeating the same offence. In most cases before the bombing, leaflets were dropped an sent into the area.
Some of the pictures from the media can be questioned, one showed a young girl with a heavy bandage described as a limb being blowen off by an Israel bomb, she had no other injuries to her face or body, it was all very neat and clean I would expect a bomb would have many parts flying off and causing more cuts and marks, requiring bandages. She also appeared relaxed, not stressed.
