The latest headline involving religion is the attack at a Synagogue, killing a number worshipers. I am so sad that many people in the world have this misconception about who Jews are. They seem to have the idea that because the Jews were there when Christ was crucified and they had the opportunity to save him from the cross, they had Barabbas, (Mt. 27:16; Mk. 15:11; Lk. 23:18; Jn. 18:40) set free instead. It was the Chief Priests and Elders that charged Jesus and ordered Pilate, to have him crucified. The Chief Priest and Elders, have feared Christ power and influence over the people and they jumped at the opportunity to get rid of him.
I wanted to ask Manchester the Angel, about this, I was glad to see him on the boat.
"Your Bible tells you that the Chief Priest and Elders, persuaded the crowd to set Barabbas free and crucify Jesus. Pilate took water and symbolically washed his hands saying to the crowd I am innocent of this mans blood. And all the people answered, "His blood be on us and our children!" (Mat. 26: 24-26). By that quote people through the years feel that it was a curse on all Jews, it was not, a crowd of people can not call for a never-ending curse on themselves, only your Creator has that power.
"Over the years many people have been cruel and hard on the Jews just for their race. The Children of Israel are Gods chosen people! They were chosen from the beginning.
"Jewish family's are famous for being close and loving, wanting their children to be successful in their lives, go to school, work hard and in that they usually succeed, much of their success brings in wealth. Many being doctors and lawyers. They are famous for their wise investments in stocks and real estate. There's no need for people to have envy for Gods chosen.
"God made a bond with Abraham and his descendants thousands of years ago and when God makes a bond he keeps it. Your bond is through Jesus, it is just as powerful as his bond with the Jews. Don't envy, join Jesus."
With that he vanished.
