My wife and I, had a wonderful Christmas this year and we hope you had a wonderful Christmas too.
What made our Christmas so special was a visit from our son, his wife and nine month old girl. Baby Grace is our first grandchild and what makes her special to us is, she was a premature baby weighing less than two pounds at birth.
We call her our "miracle child." What happened was when our son's wife was about four months along she was rushed to the hospital with problems. We were told that she would have to spend the next four months in the hospital on her back!
I told my son that it would be like torture for his wife to spend four months in a hospital, let alone on her back. I told our son that when a situation was very important and not a selfish matter, my prayers were almost always answered. I said that we should pray for her, with the hope that the medical experts could come up with a solution where she would not have to be on her back for that length of time.
Well, as the saying goes, "be careful what you wish for, because it might come true." That can apply to prayer also. She was rushed to the Hospital again and gave birth to her daughter right away, at one pound, nine ounces. With our heavenly father and terrific doctors, baby Grace is now just fine.
Being a person of faith and believing in prayer gives me great strength and peace in life. Thank you Jesus.
I went to the boat and Manchester was there, I wanted to ask him about an item I saw on the news about a group of ministers physically fighting over a space at a church in Bethlehem.
I asked Manchester about this.
"The reason why your faith is not based on places or objects and buildings is just that! Your Creator does not want you fighting over these things. His power and love is with you no matter where you are, who you are or what you have.
With that he vanished.
