Over the holidays I was snowed in and I did not make it to the boat. Now I am on the boat and there was my Angel Manchester. I decided to ask him about our homosexual community. I wanted to know if as some beliefs are, that they are condemned to hell and should they be allowed by our government to marry?
You are a physical being and being that you are required to live by different standards and those standards often interfere with the spiritual laws that we live by. There are very powerful and confusing elements in your makeup and sex is one of them. I am not qualified to give any detailed answers in this area. You must understand that you or anyone else living in your world is not qualified to judge as to who goes to hell or not! As to the question of marriage; Throughout the history of the world for thousands of years the term and word Marriage has referred to the joining or union between a man and a woman. If the meaning is to be changed to mean a man and a man or a woman and a woman you certainly can do it in your physical world but it would never change in the spiritual world.
Yes I understand. I don't understand how you can change the meaning of a word that has existed for so long. The people who feel they need to join legally together may do so, they can use the term married, socially if they choose to. I don't see why they feel that they need to change the meaning of the word legally.
