I have been busy all this month with visits from friends and relatives and I have been using the boat a lot In July and August, we have the best weather here in western Washington and its the busiest time of the year.
When I am out on the boat with friends or my wife, Manchester, the Angel does't appear, so I've not had contact with him. For this month I will have to fill in with my own testimony.
As a young man I attended a church in my neighborhood with a buddy of mine. His family was wonderful and devout. I was too young to understand what Christ and salvation was about. When I was seventeen a friend took me to a Salvation tent show, where I was "saved".
I attended a church near my home in California, for about two years. Then Girls and fast cars crowded into my life and I drifted away from regular church attendance, I still loved and believed in our Savior. When I started College I was reading books on the different philosophies. While I was learning, I felt I should include the Bible, as a philosophy.
Before that time I had never read the Bible all the way through, cover to cover. I took my time, taking notes when I was finished (about a year later) my faith was renewed and my eyes were wide open.
I discovered the power of prayer, the strength of faith and wonderful world of blessings. The power of prayer led me to my wife, a beautiful intelligent woman of faith. Our courtship and marriage were with the church, we wanted our life together to start out right. So far so good we are still married at total of fifty two years.
Our Heavenly Father has blessed us with two beautiful children, and one grandchild. We all enjoy good health and security. I feel we have a great Guardian Angel. I believe our Creator assigns a Angel to all of us. I would not step one foot outside if I thought I was not under our Fathers protection.
Living with the Lord makes our lives wonderful and at peace. Next month I will make contact with Manchester.
