This has been quite a month with the politics and the covid. My faith helps me to deal with all of it. I live up in Washington State and we got a dose of snow, not the usual wet-snow the stuff we are used to in western Washington, but the light fluffy dry snow. I can’t help it, I like it, but I don’t like it to stick around too long. I look out my living room window and it just looks beautiful floating down. We live in a lovely area surrounded by trees. We find it easy to feel the power of our Creator as we look at our small part of the world.
It’s easy for me to believe in a “Super Scientist” with a large team of scientists! All you need to do is look at this big beautiful world, the sun, sky, trees, hills, valleys, all of the amazing animals, birds, fish and creepy crawly things and of coarse we humans, especially we humans.
We have an advantage that our early fathers didn’t have, we have modern science. We fly through the air, dive under the sea and have been to the moon, our scientists have accomplished many of “our miracles”. But they haven'’t even come close to the “Super Scientist”, ours can’'t even create a bug! And yet many of them criticize those who believe in our Heavenly Father, our creator if you will.
I love our Lord's plan, I love that we are allowed to live on this incredible planet flying through the universe, completely unique, nothing like it, at least so far. I like being part of his “experiment” his design of male and female in all of life even plants and trees. I call it the “Creation Connection”, it shows that there is a plan, an engineered designed plan that could only come from a designer, planner if you will. How can anyone not realize it, it’s as plain as the nose on your face.
Just think if you and I were placed on our planet one hundred and fifty years earlier, I don'’t know if I could survive! Our ancestors had to be tough and smart, can you imagine if you had to get up and go out to the barn and hitch up the horse to the sled so mom could go to the store! In the snow! My wife and I had horses for a while and saddling was a job, had to brush them down pick their hoofs load on the saddle and bridle, then you were ready - not like jumping into the car. You have to admire your ancestors.
