Last year December 2015 I explained why I feel we have a Creator, a being that is like an incredible genius that assembled a bunch of scientists to design and create this wonderful world and all that is in it. Believing this is easier than the pond scum theory.
The old testament version in the bible is a bit difficult to grasp but it is easier to buy, than pond scum. When I look around at all of the complex life forms, it is easier for me to believe in a Creator. It also gives me comfort to believe in a connection of some sort between these “scientists” and us. When everything goes wrong and you’'ve tried to fix it to no avail, there is nothing left but to get spiritual. And it is so nice to reach out to someone, something, out there. They may not hear you but at least you can feel better unloading all of the frustration.
If we humans can “invent” a spiritual being in our minds, (I don’'t think animals have that ability, they wouldn’'t tell me anyway) why not accept it? Most of us find it perfectly harmless. Unfortunately, there are a few that abuse the word of God for gain of power and money. They, of course, in most cases are not in the right place.
Just in the beginning of this year a dear friend of ours passed away and it hurt us. But with our faith, we feel that when we pass or are raptured we will see her in the next world. If we have love and compassion for her, I feel that so does our Creator. And if he has that love for her, he also has love for all he has created.
Atheists say we use our faith as a crutch, I say that they are right! This is a difficult mysterious world, and I love having an Angel at my side. I believe that our Creator assigns an Angel to each of us. It makes sense! Our Heavenly Father is too busy to sit on the shoulder of everyone on the planet. We give thanks to our Lord for the Angel, not to the Angel, though we appreciate him or her. I like to feel that the Angel assigned could be a friend or family member who passed away a long time ago. So the atheists can have their beliefs; I'’ll stick to mine.
