In our last two interviews what we were talking about, was the debate over creation design and the Darwinian theory of evolution. When I mentioned the Galapagos Islands, I did not ask Manchester about the theory of natural selection.
I went down to the boat and he was there.
"Darwin, I understand, believes that all of creation has designed and created themselves, from a single cell to the most intricate being on your planet. Mainly through what he calls natural selection. As I understand it, one cell looks at a group of others and feels the biggest and strongest cell in the group is the one it wants to mate with, thus its line grows stronger and improves over millions of years, becoming a human being.
"A group of scientists traced through "DNA" the human race beginning in Africa connecting all of humanity to one source. Not single cells in ponds through out the world.
"Clearly there is a selection process that takes place among you humans and animals. With animals much of this is done in fights over females and territory. Going back in history physical strength and territory also played a small part in human selection. This has made you healthier and taller over a 300 year period - of - time. The years have made you more educated, but not wiser. Your "DNA" foundation has not changed. A single cell is still a single cell a monkey is still a monkey.
"How can anyone with any science education , believe this theory and teach it in schools is, beyond me!"
With that he vanished.
