The LGBTQ community is in the headlines with the Gay Pride Parades. The questions are out again on how the Bible addresses this life-style.
In the Old Testament and New, there are a number of passages, I will list the Old Testament passages as; Lev.18:22, 1 King 14:24,15:12, 2nd King 23:7 Deut. 23:17-18.
From the Old Testaments quotes you can see that the Bible does not look favorable on that life style. In the New Testament, Paul presents that our Lord does not care for that type of life, but does not condemn them to death as the Old Testament does.
In Romans 1:26 “For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their woman exchanged natural relations for unnatural, and their men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error.”
In 1 Corinthians 6:9 “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the Kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God”.
So, there you have it, we are all in the same basket so to speak. Let’s ask Manchester, the Angel.
