Most of us know that the All Hallows Eve Celebration, came from Europe many years ago and has caught on with most of us. I enjoy passing out treats to the kids in their costumes. But many of you don’t like it, they feel it leaves a negative feeling out there. Some children are scared of some of the costumes and “Haunted Houses”.
When I was a child, I loved Halloween, the costumes and masks were cheap crap! I have to admit this was a long time ago. I loved going out in the night with a bag at the ready.
Now the costumes are fantastic for children and adults, in most cases expensive. When I was about thirty, I hosted a few large Halloween parties at my home, it was located in the deep, dark, woods (I live in western Washington). I went all out with decorations, one year I decorated our unfinished basement like an old scientific lab and I wore a lab coat, thick glasses and a fright wig. Another Year I built an eight ft. tall monster with thick dark fur and glowing eyes, of course it was animated and spoke in a deep growling amplified voice, he guarded the front door and It was great fun.

"Your Creator has given you a lot of room in these things. Of course, those of you who engage in witchcraft and demon worship he would have a problem with, if it causes harm to others. With your children I have seen most of the small ones like to dress-up as princesses and comic book hero’s, I’'m sure that’'s not a problem. Others seem to talk their parents into buying them swords, clubs and axes made of plastic, not a good idea, they can cause harm to others. Enjoy the celebration."
