There are also some Churches that I attend that I get the feeling that they don't care about me. The Pastor does not meet you at the door to greet you or thank you for attending afterword. My wife and I attended a Christmas service in December at a large Church that did a lot of advertising on TV. The Building was like a large industrial plant. The greeters at the door were very nice, the ushers were fine. The sanctuary was like a huge movie theater. There was a large stage with big screens on each side and a gigantic screen at the back of the stage. On the screens there was some beautiful pictures of nature, sunrises etc. and from a large cluster of speakers hung over head music was playing so loud my wife and I had to tear up tissue I had and stuff it in our ears! After a few minutes a soloist appeared and sang a beautiful song. After a couple more entertainers, the Pastor came on stage, I was glad to see him because I had seen him on TV for years and it was nice to see him in person. I enjoyed his sermon and I hoped to see him afterwards at the door, but he was not there.

Some pastors that are famous, feel that they might slow the exit or be in danger if they are at the door, and I understand this, but I get the feeling that they just can't be bothered. '' Elvis has left the building".

Many people like this type of Church and service and I don't blame them, our Heavenly Father has given us the freedom of choice in this matter, although some Churches don't feel that way. Please don't stay away from attending a Church, most of them are wonderful and preform a great service to the community and beyond. I know that you will find one that makes you feel comforatble.
