An Angel on My Boat!
Interview with an Angel

I am not going to meet with Manchester this month because the weather is too rough. I thought I would tell you about how my faith in our creator and prayer has helped me in my life.

Faith came to me when I was very young, eight years old. As I grew up I attended church less, I got too busy with teen age life. Because life is so demanding and unpredictable I always came back to the Lord. My faith is always there deep down.

The first memory I have of prayer working was when I was visiting my grandmother when I was about fourteen. I always have been allergic to bananas, I break out in hives, thick and painful, that last for days. My grandmother forgot about my allergy and mixed bananas into a salad, after a few bites I discovered them and stopped eating the salad. I was scared that I would have a reaction, I went to bed and prayed in ernest and my prayers were answered.

Since then on many occasions I have prayed and almost always my prayers were answered. I feel that one of the main keys, is not being selfish in my prayer. Many times my prayers are small, even silly but they are answered, within minutes or a few days. I ask myself how can that happen, why would the most powerful being in the universe hear all those prayers from all those people, let alone answer them?

There is nothing I could find in the Bible that clearly addresses this, except in the Lords Prayer: "thy will be done on earth as in Heaven". When you think about it, the suggestion is that earth and heaven are similar in how they function. Such as there are leaders, organizers, bosses and workers

So our Father in heaven is the number one leader and the Angels are his workers. The Lord designed this structure, trickle-up if you will.We are assigned an Angel, The Angel hears our prayer and has the authority from the Father to act on it. In most cases the Father does not have to hear directly from us.

Our having this connection, gives us a great power to make our lives easier, less stressful. What you can't handle your heavenly father can.

If you have that faith, your life becomes a joy. PRAISE OUR LORD! Amen, Dave
