Much has been happening since I last met with Manchester. In France, terrorists attacked an office of a off-beat publication, killing twelve people. The publication mocked many people, governments and religions with their editorials and cartoons. In most cases they were very disrespectful to their subjects.
The terrorists called out while leaving "God is Great" in Arabic, suggesting that their religion was Muslim. Later they were identified and were connected with a terrorist organization that claims to be doing God's work.
I wanted to ask Manchester about this. I went to the boat hoping he would be there, and he was.
"Throughout the history of human kind, there has been a search for a power greater than yourselves. This search has led you in many directions, some to the true Creator and many to dead-ends, some sincere others not.
"Many seek power thru religion, the power-mongers try to find people who want power themselves, they also want some meaning to their lives, a purpose.
"The Middle-East has been a battle-ground for thousands of years. The Muslim religion believes in the same God that the Jews and Christians do. They do not believe in the power that Christ has to save humanity. Even though they believe in the same God that the Jews do, they do not worship God in the same way, in fact some have a hatred towards them.
"After WW II, the UN divided up the lands in the middle east that sided with Germany. They made a treaty with Israel and the Arab countries. Soon after the treaty was signed, five of the Arab countries attacked Israel. Israel won but they have been in conflict since. Read Ezekiel, 38 a prophecy, made over three thousand years ago.
"Most Muslims are law abiding sincere people, a few are misled by power hungry people, they use them as pawns, most are young and foolish willing to kill and die for a lie.
"True believers know their Heavenly Father has the power to bring about events without our having to kill innocent people or force people to worship Him."
He vanished.
