Israel is at war! Not the first time. Ever since Israel was given its land after the end of ww-2 1948, when new borders were drawn up. Israel has been attacked by nations controlled by Islam. During WW-2 those nations were on the side of Germany, and Germany with it’s supporters lost. Usually when a nation loses it has to give up land as punishment. Palestine lost its land, some of it went to Israel.
There is a prediction in the Bible suggesting that the U.S. is part of Israels blessing to Josephs sons; (Gen. 49-18 And Joseph said to his father, “Not so, my father; for this one is the first-born; put your right hand upon his head.” But his father refused, and said, “I know, my son I know; he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great; nevertheless his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations.”) Many bible students feel that the United States was to become that “multitude of Nations.” I feel the same when we can see how powerful and diversified we are.
I believe this is why we are attacked often by those who are against Israel, like 9-11. Your bible has predicted Israel occupying their land in Gen. 49-21 (Then Israel said to Joseph, “Behold, I am about to die, but God will be with you, and will bring you again to the land of your fathers. Moreover I have given to you rather than your brothers one mountain slope which I took from the hand of the Amorites with my sword and with my bow.”) There you have it, over three thousand years ago, the land the Jews now occupy was promised and that has come true.
The next prediction came in EZ 38- 14, (“Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, Thus says the Lord God: On that day when my people Israel are dwelling securely, you will bestir yourself and come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of you riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army; you will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land, I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.”)”.
