One of the big news events is the apparent murder of a reporter working for the Washington Post. He entered a Saudi Consulate compound in Istanbul, (which was seen on camera) and has not been seen since.
Saudi Arabia, is ruled by its Royal Family, as with many middle east countries, Israel excluded, which makes it very difficult to find out who is responsible and how to bring them to justice. All we in America can do is speculate, and try to investigate as best we can.
The news media, which is in the business of reporting the news and follow Mike Pompeo, around looking for a scoop. In doing so they tend to stir the pot, making headlines where there are not any, like going political. Some are blaming President Trump, because of his struggle with our press here at home. I'm not a big fan of Donald,
but I feel that's a stretch.
I felt it was time to ask Manchester, the Angel, what he thinks, altho he does't like to talk about politics..
As you know I do not like to get involve in your politics! Since this situation involves the Middle East, the foundation of your world, I will make an exception.
The Middle East is mostly made up of Muslims, a Religion founded by Mohammed, over a thousand years ago, and has split into two major factions, the Sunnis and the Shi'ites, the Sunnis, has the largest following, about 90 percent, and then there are many more smaller groups.
These groups over the years have developed into a fierce rivalry. In your world of Christianity, you have split into many groups over the years also and you
have committed murders such as abortion doctors being killed etc. trying to force your views on each other. In your state of Washington, an Adventist Church
was firebombed. I will not go back to the Crusades.
I don't understand why there is such a fuss over the Khashoggi, killing, when he
is not an American. These acts go on all the time all over the world. I suppose it's
all about the intense rivalry between your political parties trying to derail any success that the present President might have. Could be with Kushners, attempts to put together a Middle East peace plan.
You humans are a mystery to me.
And with that he vanished.
